I am not a huge New Belgium Beer fan, but I do appricate their focus on good design and engineer (their Fort Collins brewery tour is fanatastic). The staff were super friendly and helpful, even though the place was packed. The food was good, especially the tuna salad. We did not have it but the preztels look awesome, with the fun dipping sause options. Over all a really nice space with a great ambiance, I highly recommend.

Beers are awesome but their chili was just ok.

Assuming the universal truth that there's nothing better after a day of skiing than fine beer, gooey grilled cheese, and cozy atmosphere, Ranger Station is the mecca of apres-chill chilling. You won't be disappointed.

Great spot to chill, the happy hour deal is pretty good. The bison nachos is tasty as is the pretzels. Drinks are pretty good too, enjoyed my hot buttered rum.

Enjoyed a specialty coffee and bison nachos. The service was friendly and they put on our football game!

I can't think of a better place to relax and refuel after a long day skiing. All of their beers are great (try a flight). Pretzel pizza rolls on fleek.

Great atmosphere, great beer, and great service. My favorite place to stop for a beer on the mountain. I would definitely recommend the baked pretzel rolls for a snack. They're amazing!

New Belgium beers in Snowmass. You really can't go wrong with that combination. While I'm partial to the la folie, it was sadly not on tap. In lieu they had Erics Sour Peach Ale which definitely hit the spot. I've been here twice in three days. Why? Great beer, great view, extremely friendly staff, and not bad at all pub food. I'll definitely be bringing my laptop and working from here again.

If you are looking for a nice spot to sit and partake of a New Belgium beer, look no further! Their tap is a beautiful expression of many of NB's flavors, poured to perfection. If you are a fan of beer from a keg over prepackaged delivery systems then you should stop here for a few drinks. Now, if you want some decent and filling food that is reasonably priced and of a good quality I would suggest you look elsewhere. The food selection was rather lame and the quality reflects inexpensive and highly processed ingredients. After having their pretzel appetizer and their chili dog I was left very underwhelmed and had to find something else on my trek back to the hotel. Go for the beer and not to be dazzled by their menu. The little taphut could do way better in their food offerings.

Great spot for a good beer, some food to munch on and views of the mountain. Right in the middle of the snow run, its ski in, ski out. You literally, just swing by, unclip, post up your skis and walk ten feet to an outdoor table. Or indoor, but on my occasion the sun was out and it was a lovely day to sit outdoors. Prices are a little steep, but the quality is there and so is the location, so what would one expect given your surroundings? Another reason Snowmass is so fantastic.

Great little place with all the New Belgium beer you could want. They offer several options for food, but we didn't sample any at the time. The location is wonderful, especially for those staying at the Westin.

Located in a very prime location of Snowmass, NBRS offers the comfort of "technically" local brews from New Belgium. I consider myself a beer snob so only having a list of only New Belgium wasn't my forte; however, the people, large menu and Spiked Hot Chocolate makes NBRS a must see when stopping in Snowmass Village.

Awesome apres ski spot. Perfect location at the bottom of Snowmass Mountain. They offer a wide variety of New Belgium beers, which range from bitter DIPAs to hearty stouts. The food selection is awesome, too. I had the chili in a sourdough bread bowl, which was quite nice after skiing all day. Definitely a place to check out for fans of the sudsy stuff.

Fun place, great beer selection, great food! Big yummy portions, try the Kale salad or Nachos! The fire pit is really nice at the end of the day. Great atmosphere inside too!

Great beer, good food, reasonably priced, especially compared to the restaurants in the Westin where we're staying. A very short walk, too. Not a lot of seating, but they're making it work.

Stopped in our last night when we were staying at the Westin. One of the bartenders, Matty, kept us laughing all night. Sat at the bar and had two taster flights. We were able to sample all the beers, including ones not available on the east coast. Fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Free foos ball! Great beer on draft, including many rare, hard to find new belgium delights. Plenty of sunshine from giant windows, and a mix of bar and table seating, which felt more cozy than cramped because everyone was so friendly. The walls are covered in smiling portrait polaroids signed by past guests. Incredibly friendly, attentive service. I forgot my drivers license so I couldn't drink this time and the waitress felt bad and gave me 2 half off beer coupons which I will definitely be coming back to make use of! Good prices all day, and GREAT PRICES during the 3-6PM happy hour so you can refuel from the slopes. The menu is fairly limited, and is basic bar food, but done well. We got the Nachos platter which was $8 during happy hour, and were brought out fresh and steaming from the oven, covered in such a high mountain of cheese, chili, jalapenos, sour cream, and guacamole that my wife and I could only finish half between us, and brought the rest home. Come for the craft brews, stay for the good food, and the warm hospitality!

What could be more perfect than having an epic ski day on the mountain and literally ski into a bar? It's done. South of the Florida Georgia line we don't get New Belgium beers so it always feels special to get it out West. I was happy to order it in the countless bars around town but at the Ranger Station, you get to try flights of brews I've never seen anywhere else. Color me exclusive, I was feeling downright VIP. They also have food but honestly, I was there for the beer. My cousin got the grilled cheese and it looked really good and the pretzels were amazing but the beer. Oh Lord, the beer. It didn't feel too touristy (says the tourist) but I doubt many locals head to the area. Many of other patrons there the nights we went seemed to know the bartender. I could have spend every evening watching the snow fall and skiers coming down the mountain from this little bar, it was absolutely perfect.

I can't think of a better place for apres ski, especially during their happy hour, which runs from 3-6PM. During our visit, they featured $2 off beers, $8 nachos and $6 pretzel rolls. My wife and I had tried their nachos, which was a heaping pile of cheese, chili, jalapeños, sour cream, and guacamole. Totally worth the price. I tried one of their "Lips of Faith" brews. I don't remember the name, but the beer had notes of chocolate and contained around 10% ABV. I was feeling pretty happy after one beer, let me tell you. Apparently they also have trivia nights, however, we were too tired to stay. Next time.

i liked this place...a lot! Great place for apres ski. We also got lucky with a table. The beers are great, a nice big selection. They also have some nice hard liquor drinks that you might not find other places. The food menu was good too, the pretzel bites were insanely good. I would go back next time, after a long day of skiing.

Great food and great drinks. We had the pretzel roll pepperoni pizza, two beers, and the spiked hot chocolate. Great place to watch people ski and snowboard down the hill, sit by a fire, and have an appetizer with some drinks. We will be back next trip to Snowmass Village.

I've literally been sitting at the Ranger Station for days. When I'm not on the mountain, I'm here enjoying a delicious beer and chatting it up with the kilt wearing bartender Brad. I'm really impressed with the variety of beers New Belgium has to offer and have had a great time working my way through each one of them. My favorite beer on the menu is the Imperial Coffee Chocolate Stout (get it while you can! It's a part of a rotation of beers), and my favorite food is the bison chili nachos. I'm not one to generally order nachos ever, but these have a delicious combination of toppings and really do the trick after a long day on the mountain. Perfect location, chill atmosphere, delicious beer and food. Glad to have a solid refuge in Snowmass. Check it out for sure.

Limited food menu, but Loved the pretzels! We got the beer mustard, beer cheese and honey-cinnamon dipping sauces. All 3 were great! The chili had a strange after taste. Great service. Nice waitress. I'd go back. The salad was delicious too. The pizza-pretzel bites were very salty.

A great place for mid day brews and appetizers! At night, drink your beer by the fire pit.

This is seriously the best bar in town. Full beer and the only place to get the best variety of New Belgium beer. Plus food adequately priced and in great portions. All the bartenders are great and treat you like a friend. Live music Wednesdays and Saturdays, and beer pong on Mondays. In short, if you are in town, go here.

I visited this place in July and I would imagine it's even better during the ski season. They have a wide variety of New Belgium brews, along with different seasonal offerings. My wife and I ordered the bison chili nachos and they came out fast and in a large portion. We were both full afterwards. Great beers, good food, and right by the lift! Awesome.

Just perfect as you ski in for lunch or at the end of the day for après ski. They have lots of great beers, but I love the Belgian hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream. The warm pretzels with Nutella can't be beat!

Good stuff. Hot chocolate done right w marshmallows & whipped cream, and delicious paninis. Try the tuna melt with swiss cheese and spicy mustard. Right at the top of Sky Cab lift.

best beer and snacks on any mountain in Colorado. Amazing to have all the new Belgium beers on tap. And the bison chili I've had seconds of each time in!

Both the pretzel items were amazing. A full selection of New Belgium beers allows you to try some that you normally wouldn't find at the store.

The best hot buttered rum I have already had. Served in large metal camping style coffee cup. I am hooked!

The Ranger Station holds a lot of potential, but could improve on a couple things. I went in there the other day and the collective perspiration of everyone in the very small space created an extremely humid environment. Also, all the windows were fogged up. It kind of grossed me out that I was ensconced in the collected bodily vapors of everyone in the room. So, there needs to be better ventilation! Also, there was no music on for a solid half hour while we were there. Good, constant music is important! Otherwise, the people who work there are super nice, and of course New Belgium beers are great. Would just appreciate being able to see out those fogged up windows and not feel like I've entered a swamp with no music. Thanks!

This cozy and friendly bar truly is as good as it gets. My girlfriend and I came here after a long day of shredding (the bar literally is directly in front of the slopes) to find a packed bar that was warm, welcoming, and filling the air with live and lively music. We were able to put all of our gear beneath a bench, smartly designed, like the stools, with storage space underneath. Then, not knowing what to order because they have more New Belgium beers than I knew existed, Mike, the bartender, was friendly enough to offer us samples. We knew we wanted to try the pretzels (delicious! you get to choose three from many dipping sauces), and went with a bartender's suggestion of the mixed greens salad with chicken. As we enjoyed this apres ski, so many people filtered in and out, enjoying the live music, saying hi to the bartenders, ordering more beer and mixed drinks, and overall having a great time, that it was hard to leave this place. If you're in Aspen, you certainly have to check it out. Do persist if it seems really full, as they will be happy to welcome you regardless!

Not what I expected. The beer was over priced, and the food was only so so. Wish it were still Goodfellows Pizza.
